National Fly Tipping Prevention Group
What is the NFTPG? This is an acronym for the National Fly Tipping Prevention Group. It is a group of organisations with a common aim in reducing the problem of fly tipping or the illegal practice of dumping waste. How prevalent is this problem? The cost of managing the problem is £86 million upwards. Some estimates are twice this figure. The cost falls to the tax payer and sometimes to private landowners. The NFTPG aims to collect data on the prevalence of fly tipping and seeks to understand the cause and motive of offenders. The intention being to use this data to help in fighting waste crime. Member organisations of the NFTPG include Keep Britain Tidy, Environment Agency, Federation of Small Businesses, The Highways Agency, The National Trust and many more.
I would never engage in fly-tipping!
We believe you. Neither would millions of other responsible households. However one of the challenges is when skip hire companies themselves collect their skips from unsuspecting customers and then dump the rubbish rather than disposing of it through the proper channels. Unlicensed providers like this are usually motivated by pure financial gain. What can you do? The simple answer is to make sure that you use a responsible skip hire company that is properly licensed. Skip hire in Crewe has never been easier with AM Skip Hire. They provide a comprehensive service throughout Crewe and Cheshire. It is a family run business with over 30 years experience. They care as much about the environment and the beauty of Cheshire as you do. So if you are looking for an environmentally safe and responsible solution for your waste disposal get in touch with the team at AM Skip Hire and they will be glad to help.
